You know, my desire with this website is not simply to write random thoughts I have about all things worship. I also want you to feel free to do the same! Please, go ahead and suggest a topic that you think we should cover, and we can begin discussing it!

I am a pastor/worship leader/plumber in a small church. I play guitar and sing harmony [I am of welsh decent harmony comes easy] we have a great drummer fine guitar lead guy and my daughter sings lead. Anyway, go visit another church. See what it is like to worship God when you don’t pick the music and rehearse it. Eye opening. I just did it 2 weeks ago and my daughter and guitar guy [ I should watch those 2 there is something going on maybe] went last Sunday. K.I.S.S. Keep it simple, sinner!
God bless your ministry. You are invited, WWYD, “What Would You Do” if somebody just gave you a church, no strings attached. willohroots.wordpress.com

thanks for your suggestion. I have actually been to many-a-church in my brief tenure on this earth, and I have found that there are times where I really enjoy not being up front during worship. It is very freeing. It can be very difficult to actually worship while you are leading worship, because you have several things to think about.
As for your question about receiving a church from someone, no strings attached:
I would probably fall on my knees at that moment and ask God for the strength and wisdom to lead that church. I’ve had enough opportunity in my life to see the behind the scenes stuff of churches to know that it should never be something someone chooses simply as a vocation. They’ll either end up driving it into the ground, or having some sort of mental or emotional breakdown, or both.
